Planning of the Perdigão 2017 experiment
The purpose of this message is both to inform you on the two events and ask you to go ahead with your accommodation in Portugal, as soon as possible.
The three first days (May 10-12) will be the general meeting, while the last day (Friday May 13th) will focus on the detailed planning of the Perdigão 2017 campaign. There will be an excursion to the Perdigao site in the late afternoon of May 10th. A more detailed agenda, which will also depend on your input, will appear in due time.
Vila Velha de Ródão (the municipality where Perdigão is located) is a small village in the interior of Portugal with a limited number of accommodation facilities, which for our advantage have to be secured well in advance, see below.

ACCOMMODATION
Conditions were negotiated with the companies below:
1. Herdade da Urgueira, headquarter, with meeting rooms and restaurant.

Concerning the accommodation, there is a capacity between 18 and 32 (depending on the number of persons per room).
Price: 60 Euros per person, all included (accommodation and lunch).
Those staying anywhere else must consider 15 Euros per day for lunch at Herdade da Urgueira.

Price: 40 or 45 Euros per room, accommodation and breakfast (45 euros per room with single occupation or 40 euros if double occupation).

These 3 locations are in Vila Velha de Ródão and all have agreed on special prices for participants in our meetings. There are alternative accommodations nearby, though not so convenient, where you can also stay.
